Learn what will happen to your subscription after support ends on July 1, 2019

Updated over a week ago

Background

Cloud Storage for Amazon S3 was designed and launched for NetSuite customers seeking an alternative storage solution to the NetSuite File Cabinet. But over the period we have noticed that majority of our customers have moved to other business productivity apps that also offer flexible and end user friendly storage services like G Drive, OneDrive for Business, and Sharepoint.

We no longer see prospects asking us for this integration and as a company we want to focus our energies on products & solutions that our customers demand.

Sunsetting Cloud Storage for Amazon S3

Effective July 1, 2018 Celigo will no longer be making any enhancements to Cloud Storage for Amazon S3 Suite bundle and from July 1, 2019 onwards Celigo will permanently discontinue Cloud Storage for Amazon S3 subscription services and stop support for the solution.

Your ability to use the service after July 1, 2019 will not be revoked. Customers are free to continue using the solution on an as is basis after July 1, 2019 but we caution you that it may not be compatible with future NetSuite updates.

Your Data :

Your data is in your control and you will have access to it even after July 1, 2019 as long as you keep the Suite Bundle installed. If you delete the bundle all your associations between NetSuite records and S3 files will be lost and that cannot be undone.

There is a chance an update from NetSuite could cause the integration to break. You data will still be available on AS3, however, after July 1, 2019 we will no longer be providing support or updates and use of the App will be at your own risk.

Your Subscription:

Customers renewing after July 1, 2018 will be renewed on a pro-rated basis through July 1, 2019.

Alternatives :

If you are already have a G Suite subscription, consider using G Drive as your storage provider along with our CloudExtend G Suite solution. If you have an Office 365 subscription, we will be launching our integration for OneDrive for Business by Q2 2019. Celigo's integrator.io can also be used to integrate NetSuite with S3. Sign up for a free trial at integrator.io.

If you need to manage your existing S3 files a number of 3rd party tools are mentioned in this article on stackoverflow.
