Download Snapshot exports the current sheet, a selection of sheets, or the entire workbook as values only. Every XAVI formula is stripped out, so the result contains no live NetSuite connection and no formula logic.
Use it to share a report with someone who doesn't have an ExtendInsights license, or to capture what a report looked like at a specific point in time
Step 1: Open Download Snapshot
From the task pane menu, click Download Snapshot. The panel lists every sheet in the current workbook and indicates which one is currently active.
Step 2: Choose What to Export
Select one sheet, several, or the entire workbook, then click Download Sheets.
Step 3: Review the Exported Workbook
The downloaded workbook contains values only wherever a XAVI formula was used. Native Excel formulas that reference those cells — for example, a SUM total built on top of XAVI output — are preserved.
💡 Why this is useful
The person receiving the file doesn't need an ExtendInsights license to open it, there's no formula or live connection left to resolve. It's also a clean way to keep a dated record of a report.
Step 4: Save the File
Save the exported workbook to your local device or to OneDrive. If you run the export from Excel on the web, the file downloads to your local device.
