Is this a CloudExtend decision, or an Oracle NetSuite mandate?
This is an Oracle NetSuite mandate, not a discretionary change on our part. Oracle NetSuite has announced that SOAP web services are being retired platform-wide in favor of REST-based web services, and all integrations that use SOAP — including CloudExtend's — are affected by this timeline.

Where does CloudExtend stand today?
CloudExtend currently integrates with NetSuite using the SOAP 2024.1 endpoint through our integration record.
What is CloudExtend's migration plan?
We are proactively migrating from SOAP to REST well ahead of Oracle's final SOAP shutdown in late 2028.
Migrating early gives us time to properly test and resolve any issues, rather than migrating under deadline pressure as the shutdown date approaches.
Will this affect users?
Possibly. As part of this migration, some field references may change from how they work today. Since templates and scheduled processes often rely on these field references, they could be affected as a result.
We are currently reviewing our integration to identify exactly where this applies, and to mitigate the impact wherever possible.
