CloudExtend Outlook and Excel users can login to NetSuite with basic credentials or with access tokens.
Upon first login CloudExtend will ask for your username and password and then will attempt to create access tokens for you. These access tokens will be used by CloudExtend every time it sends or requests data from NetSuite.
Users without the User Access Tokens will receive this message:
You cannot continue this authorization flow. Your current role has insufficient permission. Please contact your account administrator.
At this point, users can click the back button and then login with basic credentials for the time being. It is recommended that they contact their NetSuite Admin and ask them to enable User Access Tokens for their role for future logins as this can greatly reduce NetSuite concurrency issues.
Resolution
Ask your NetSuite Admin to enable User Access Tokens for your role as this can greatly reduce NetSuite concurrency issues.
Step 1: Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
Step 2: Look for the role name that you wish to edit
Step 3: Go to Permissions > Setup and make sure you have User Access Tokens and SOAP Web Services set to FULL.
