Calendar Autopilot supports syncing NetSuite calendar events that are created via CSV import as long as the import is configured correctly.
This article explains how to import events into NetSuite using CSV and ensure they sync to Google Calendar through ExtendSync.
Important Scope Note
Legacy Calendar Sync is deprecated.
This article applies only to Calendar Autopilot, the supported calendar sync solution for ExtendSync Google.
When Would You Use This?
CSV imports are commonly used when you need to:
Migrate historical or bulk calendar events into NetSuite
Load events from another system
Create events in bulk for reporting or scheduling
By enabling the correct import option, Calendar Autopilot will pick up these events and sync them to Google Calendar.
Required Setting (Critical)
For Calendar Autopilot to detect and sync CSV-imported events, you must enable SuiteScript execution during the import.
Without this option:
Events will be created in NetSuite
They will NOT sync to Google Calendar
How to Import Events via CSV (NetSuite Admin Steps)
Step 1: In NetSuite, go to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV records.
Step 2: Upload the CSV file and on the Import section, click the drop-down button on Advance Options.
Step 3: Tick the checkbox RUN SERVER SUITESCRIPT AND TRIGGER WORKFLOWS and progress to the next steps.
✅ Run Server SuiteScript and Trigger Workflows
This allows Calendar Autopilot’s background scripts to process the newly created events.
Notes & Considerations
⏳ Imports may take longer than usual due to additional scripts running.
⚠️ Large imports may fail if your NetSuite account hits script usage or governance limits.
Sync timing depends on account load, but events will be picked up automatically after import.
Imported events follow the same field mapping and limitations as manually created events.
