    • A modern, streamlined user interface

    • Improved performance and usability

    • All features from the legacy version

    • Additional capabilities that were previously limited to Classic/SmartClient

πŸ”΅ Can I still access the legacy version?

  • No.
The legacy (SmartClient) version has been fully deprecated and is no longer accessible. All users now work exclusively in NextGen.

πŸ”΅ What happened to my templates during the upgrade?

  • All templates from the legacy version were:

    • Automatically migrated to NextGen

    • Preserved under the same NetSuite account

    • Available as personal or organization templates (based on prior sharing)

    No manual migration is required.

πŸ”΅ Do I need a new license to use NextGen?

  • No.
NextGen uses your existing ExtendInsights Data Management license.

  • When you first logged in to NextGen using your Microsoft or Google account, your license was automatically mapped.

πŸ”΅ What if I chose the wrong Microsoft or Google account?

  • Your resolution depends on your edition:

    • Personal Edition

πŸ”΅ Why does login require Microsoft or Google now?

  • NextGen uses Microsoft or Google identity for authentication instead of NetSuite credentials.

    This provides:

    • More secure authentication

    • Easier role and environment switching

    • Support for users without Microsoft 365 (via Google login)

πŸ”΅ Can I switch between Microsoft and Google login?

  • No.
Your license is mapped to one identity only.

If you originally logged in with Microsoft, continue using Microsoft.
If you originally logged in with Google, continue using Google.
Using a different login method may trigger a trial screen.

πŸ”΅ I see a trial screen but I have an active subscription. Why?

  • This typically happens when:

    • You logged in with a different identity than the one originally used

    • You switched browsers or cleared cache and selected a different login option

  • Use the same login method you originally chose. If the issue persists, Support can help remap your license.

πŸ”΅ I was previously using Classic (SmartClient). Is NextGen equivalent?

  • Yes β€” and more.
NextGen fully replaces Classic and includes all Classic-only capabilities. No functionality was lost during the transition.
