ExtendInsights filters enable users to select just the right data. Schedules enable them to automate their downloads so that reports are always up to date with no manual intervention.
Prerequisite to Scheduling
In order to write data to Excel your Excel file must be stored on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint.
Create Query and Download Data
Now that you've connected to your data source it's time to get your data into Excel by following the steps below or watching the video. Please note the steps below show HubSpot but the steps are the same for most data sources.
1. From the list of data sources, select your desired data source and then select Create query.
| 2. Choose the desired resource for your data, in the case below we will select "Contacts"

3. A list of available fields will be displayed. You can enter a partial name for any field to find matches. Select each field and when done, click Apply. Need to change the data type for your field? Learn how here. | 4. If desired, set a filter for your data. In this case, we want all last names containing "Smith".

5. If desired, check off the slider to save the template to be reused in other workbooks, give the template a name, and then choose "Save & Download" (if you're not saving the template the only option will be to "Download" and you will only be able to refresh this search from the worksheet it is stored on. | 6. You've now successfully downloaded your desired date into Excel and are ready to analyze it further.

Automate Downloads with Schedules
Scheduling downloads requires that your file be stored on SharePoint or OneDrive for Business. Follow the steps below to add your download to a schedule.
1. After you have loaded your query, select "Schedule" | 2. On the next screen, give your schedule a name, set the frequency, and select "Schedule" | 3. Congratulations. You've now automated your download. What will you do with the time saved? Maybe build some awesome dashboard. |
