In the event you need to change the field type for data coming from a data source (for example, changing a field from text to date), ExtendInsights provides that option directly in the application.

For standard fields we're able to pre-determine the data type and for custom fields they are generally set to text. Users can then change the data type directly in the application for this and all subsequent downloads.

From the list of fields, select the gear icon on the field you wish to change the type for, and select the desired field type.
