A new Advanced Option in ExtendSync for Outlook allows you to disable category application after an email is linked to a NetSuite record.

When this option is enabled, ExtendSync will not apply Outlook categories (such as Synced by CloudExtend or CloudExtend Autopilot) to your emails whether the association was done manually or via Autopilot.

By default, this feature is turned off, meaning category tags will continue to be applied automatically.


πŸ’‘ Recommendation

We recommend keeping category application enabled, as it helps users quickly identify emails that have been successfully synced to NetSuite directly from their Outlook inbox.

However, if your organization uses its own categorization system or prefers not to apply CloudExtend categories, you can easily disable this behavior.


How to Disable Category Application

Step 1: In the ExtendSync app, go to Menu then Settings.

Step 2: Locate Advanced Options > Disable Categories.
