ExtendSync Outlook | Learn how to disable category setting

We’ve added a new setting in Advanced Options that lets you disable category application after an email is linked to a NetSuite record. Whether the association is manual or through Autopilot, disabling this option prevents the CloudExtend category from being applied to your emails. By default, this feature is turned off.

💡 Note:

We recommend keeping category application enabled in ExtendSync Outlook, as it helps users easily identify emails synced by CloudExtend in their inbox. However, organizations that prefer to categorize emails differently can take advantage of this new setting.

Step 1: In the ExtendSync app, go to Menu then Settings.

Step 2: Locate Advanced Options > Disable Categories.
