The Email Subject Line Inspection feature allows ExtendSync to automatically detect 4-digit or longer numbers in the subject line of an email and fetch matching transaction records from NetSuite.
β
This setting is enabled by default and helps users quickly locate related records (like invoices, estimates, or purchase orders) directly from their inbox without manual searching.
How to Enable or Verify Subject Line Inspection
Step 1: In ExtendSync Panel, go to Menu then Settings.
Step 2: Turn on Subject Inspection.
Once enabled, ExtendSync automatically searches for matching NetSuite transactions each time you open an email containing a 4-digit number in the subject line.
Step 3: Configure Records Filter.
For Subject Line Inspection to return accurate results, make sure the correct record types are included in your Records Filter settings.
Click Menu β Settings β Configure Records Filter.
Check the boxes for the record types you want ExtendSync to display (e.g., Invoices, Estimates, Sales Orders).
Click Back to automatically save your preferences.
π‘ Tip: You can watch the short GIF tutorial (if available) to see how to configure your record filter in a few quick steps.
Output Example
When you open an email that contains a 4-digit (or longer) number in the subject line (e.g., Invoice 12345), ExtendSync automatically scans for matching records in NetSuite and displays them in the Available Records section of the app panel.
This saves you time by pulling up the related record instantly.
