When ExtendDocs is activated and user saves an email from Outlook using ExtendSync, the files and folders are stored to the OneDrive and SharePoint.
Even so, the role of users should have the visibility to see Attaches Received and Attached sent folders for this to work.
Issue
When ExtendDocs is activated and a user saves an email from Outlook using ExtendSync, the files and folders are correctly stored in OneDrive and SharePoint.
However, users may not see these attachments in NetSuite if their role does not have visibility to the Attachments Received and Attachments Sent folders.
β
Cause
The files are not appearing in NetSuite because the Hide Attachment Folders preference is enabled.
β
When this setting is turned on, NetSuite hides the system folders where attachments are stored, preventing OneDrive or SharePoint folders and files from displaying in the File Cabinet.
β
Resolution
To allow files and folders to sync to NetSuite when saving emails from Outlook, make sure the Hide Attachment Folders preference is turned off.
β
To check this setting:
In NetSuite, go to Setup > Company > General > Preferences.
Locate the Hide Attachment Folders option.
Uncheck this option.
Once disabled, the system folder will become visible in the File Cabinet, allowing email attachments to sync properly.
