Troubleshooting: How to collect execution logs for Calendar Autopilot troubleshooting

ExtendSync Outlook | Download execution logs from NetSuite

Updated over a week ago

If Outlook calendar events are not syncing to NetSuite (or vice versa), CloudExtend Support may ask for NetSuite execution logs to investigate the issue.

These logs are generated by the NetSuite script responsible for calendar synchronization and must be downloaded by a NetSuite Administrator.

When Are These Logs Needed?

You may be asked to provide execution logs when:

  • Outlook events are not appearing in NetSuite

  • Updates, deletions, or attendee changes are not syncing

  • Calendar Autopilot appears enabled but events fail silently

  • Support needs deeper visibility into NetSuite-side processing

Steps to Download Execution Logs

Requires NetSuite admin to perform the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to Scripts

In NetSuite, go to:

Customization β†’ Scripting β†’ Scripts

Step 2: Apply Filters

Apply the following filters to narrow the results:

  • Type: RESTlet

  • API Version: 2.0

Step 3: Locate the Calendar Sync Script

Search for either of the following:

  • Script Name: CloudExtend MailApps – Events

  • Script ID: customscript_prp_events

Click View on the matching script.

Step 4: Open the Execution Log

From the script record:

  1. Click Execution Log > Customized View

  2. (Optional) Adjust the date range to match when the issue occurred

πŸ’‘ Tip:
Reproduce the issue first (if possible), then immediately download logs so the relevant entries appear at the top.

Step 5: Preview and Download

  1. Click Preview

  2. Download the results as an Excel file

What to Send to Support

When contacting CloudExtend Support, include:

  • The downloaded Excel execution log

  • The date/time the issue occurred

  • The affected user(s) and NetSuite record(s)

  • A brief description of what was expected vs. what happened
