If you previously turned off the Welcome Screen in ExtendSync for Outlook, the app automatically searches NetSuite each time it opens.
While this can save time, it also increases the number of calls made to your NetSuite account.
If you’d prefer to see the Welcome Screen again, you can easily turn it back on.
💡 Tip: The Welcome Screen is useful for users who aren’t using Task Pane Pinning and want to start each session manually.
How to Turn the Welcome Screen Back On
Open ExtendSync in Outlook.
Click Menu → Settings.
Locate the Skip Welcome Screen option.
Toggle the switch OFF to re-enable the Welcome Screen.
Once re-enabled, ExtendSync will display the Welcome Screen every time it’s opened, allowing you to manually start record searches in NetSuite.
