If you see the error below when attempting to log in or trying to save an email to NetSuite using ExtendSync, it means your NetSuite role does not have Web Services access enabled.
Error
CEHE-00043
CustomerAccess DisabledError:
Customer access is disabled. Contact your Admin to get your feature enabled.
Why This Error Happens
ExtendSync requires SOAP Web Services to be enabled in NetSuite in order to save emails and communicate securely with your account.
This error occurs when:
SOAP Web Services is disabled in NetSuite, or
The feature was never enabled after account setup or a recent configuration change
Without SOAP Web Services, NetSuite blocks ExtendSync requests and returns the CEHE-00043 error.
How to Resolve the Error
A NetSuite Administrator must enable SOAP Web Services.
Log in to NetSuite as an Administrator.
Navigate to:
Setup → Users/Roles → Manage RolesLocate the role used with ExtendSync and click Edit or Customize.
Open the Permissions subtab.
Go to the Setup section.
Add the permission:
Web Services, or
SOAP Web Services (NetSuite 2020.1 and later)
In the Level dropdown, select Full.
Click Add, then Save.
⚠️ If users can log in with multiple roles, this permission must be added to every role they may select in ExtendSync.
Final Step for End Users
After the role permission is updated:
Close Gmail completely.
Reopen Gmail in Chrome.
Launch ExtendSync.
Try saving the email again.
The error should be resolved.
Verification Checklist
Confirm the following:
✔ Web Services / SOAP Web Services is set to Full on the role
✔ The correct role is selected during ExtendSync login
✔ Gmail was refreshed after the change
