Version 4.0.1.0

CloudExtend Gmail for NetSuite Release Notes: April 20, 2020

Date: Apr 2020

Autopilot Beta

This update includes the beta of CloudExtend Autopilot. Autopilot enables Gmail users to put an email thread on Autopilot, ie once you attach the email to a NetSuite record all subsequent emails in the same thread will be added to a queue and automatically attached to the same set of records.

  • Learn more about Autopilot from an Admin perspective.

  • Learn more about Autopilot from an end-user perspective here (includes video overview).

Major Improvements to email history

If you've been cc'd on an email you may have wondered if your colleagues have already attached the email to NetSuite or if you've just gone ahead and attached it anyway resulting in unnecessary duplicates. With this update, you can now see if a colleague has attached the email.

Just click the history icon at the top of the CloudExtend extension (1) and you will see the record name it was attached to (2), the record type (3), and the user that attached it (4). Nice, right?

Other Improvements

  • UI improvement with guided troubleshooting walk-through for users with "session not found" messages. Learn more here.

  • Fixed an issue where attachment selection was not working properly when attaching system-generated emails.
