FAQ: SOAP Web Services Endpoint (WSDL) Version Supported by ExtendInsights Data Management

ExtendInsights Data Management | What is the supported WSDL version of the app

Updated yesterday

ExtendInsights for Data Management connects to NetSuite using SuiteTalk (SOAP Web Services).

The endpoint version (WSDL) refers to the NetSuite SOAP schema version ExtendInsights uses to read and write records.

Supported WSDL Version

ExtendInsights for Data Management currently supports the NetSuite SOAP Web Services (WSDL) version 2024.1.

This helps ensure compatibility with newer fields and record updates exposed by NetSuite in that release.

How to confirm if a record type is supported

In the ExtendInsights add-in, supported record types are the ones visible when you:

  • Create New Records, or

  • Search and Download

If a record type is not visible, follow the steps below.

If a record type isn’t showing

If you want to work with a record type but don’t see it in ExtendInsights:

  1. Check the NetSuite Schema Browser and search for the record type.

  2. If the record type is not listed, it typically means the record is not exposed via the NetSuite SOAP API.

  3. Contact Support so the team can validate options and recommend next steps.
