How-To: Managing Existing Scheduled Searches

ExtendInsights makes it easy to automate and manage the schedule of your saved searches. Follow the steps below to add or remove schedules for your reports.

Adding a Scheduling to Saved Searches

Step 1: Before continuing be sure your workbook is saved on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint.

Step 2: Click on the Schedule tab in the ExtendInsights task pane to see a list of all schedules you have created. To create a new schedule.

  • Click New.

  • Enter the schedule interval and frequency. (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly)

  • Then click Add.

  • Click the Schedule tab in the ExtendInsights task pane.

  • Click Assign Reports and drag and drop the reports from the schedule and unschedule frames to the desired schedule.


Removed schedule of a Saved Search

Unschedule and Reschedule a Saved Search

ExtendInsights updates are designed to work with existing scheduled downloads. As a standard procedure during updates, unscheduling and rescheduling your flows once will ensure they continue to function correctly after the update.

  • Log in to ExtendInsights and navigate to your list of scheduled downlods.

  • Unschedule the Saved Search and Save.

  • Reschedule the Saved Search and Save again.

Remove the Schedule Frame

This will remove all the saved searches inside the schedule frame.

Step 1: Go to the Schedule tab.

Step 2: Click the trash icon next to the schedule to delete the schedule. Any reports in the schedule will be moved to the unscheduled frame.

Drag and Drop the Saved Search to Unscheduled Frame

Step 1: Go to the Schedule tab.

Step 2: Click Assign Reports the saved search to unschedule frame.
