ExtendInsights Data Management supports Organization templates. Templates saved as organization templates are automatically available to all licensed users in your org.
How shared organization templates work
When you are saving a template, you will see an option to save the template as a shared organization template. Once selected, this template will now be visible to all licensed users in your organization under the Organization Templates section.

After building the template, ENABLE the following:
Save as a Template
Share within the Organization
Share Existing Templates to Organization
Step 1: Hit Menu > Templates.
Step 2: Hover on the name then click the 3 dots.
Step 3: Hit Edit> Edit Template.
Step 4: Add fields or Cancel to see the current structure of the template then click Continue.
Step 5: Enable the Share within the organization button.
How to Update Templates
If there are new fields added to your NetSuite form, missing fields in your existing templates, or if you simply need to rearrange the layout—managing and updating templates is quick and straightforward.
Step 1: Go to Menu> Templates.
Step 2: Locate the template you are looking for the click the three dots then select Edit.
Step 3: This will show the template builder page.
Select the fields you want to add to the template. You can type in any part of the field name or scroll to locate it. Tick the box beside the name and hit Add fields.
Step 4: Click Continue then Select Yes, note that loading the template will clear out any data that you have on your current worksheet.
Step 5: Click the Save and Enter Data button to load the template to your worksheet.
Do not check the Save As New Template if you want to override the current template.
Creating a Copy of an Existing Template
If you want to create a new template and based it off from an existing one. You can create a copy so that the changes you made on the current template will be stored as a New Template.
Step 1: Follow the steps 1 - 4 on how to update an existing template.
For templates under Organization templates, you may check the owner name by hovering the information button.
Step 2: Users have the option to share the template within the organization or save a new template.
Step 3: Click the Save and Enter Data button to load the template

🔵 Who can edit a Shared Template?
Only the template owner can directly edit and override the existing template.
Team members can make edits but must save their changes as a new template.
If Team member was to share the updated version, TURN ON the Share within the Organization button.
🔵Who needs to make a copy of a Shared Template before editing?
To create a copy of a template, check the box Save As New template before clicking Save & Enter Data.
Owners can choose to make a copy if they want to retain the original and build a variation.
Team members can edit shared template but cannot override the original. It will always save as a new template.
🔵 Can we use the template shared or received from another user?
Yes, you can. It will be recognized by the ExtendInsights app.
🔵 Will the calculations and formulas still work using our existing workbooks?
Yes! No need to change the current process that you have. The workbooks that you are using right now will work as is.
