Overview
This article explains how to uninstall the ExtendInsights Excel add-in. The steps depend on how the add-in was originally deployed.
If you installed the add-in yourself from Microsoft AppSource, you can remove it directly from Excel.
If your organization deployed the add-in using Microsoft 365 Centralized Deployment, only a Microsoft 365 administrator can remove it.
If You Installed the Add-in Yourself
Open Microsoft Excel.
Go to Home > Add-ins.
Select More Add-ins > Manage your apps.
Locate ExtendInsights in the list of installed apps.
Select the More options (⋯) menu next to ExtendInsights.
Click Remove.
If the Add-in Was Installed by Your Administrator
If your organization deployed the ExtendInsights add-in using Microsoft 365 Centralized Deployment, you cannot uninstall it yourself.
Please contact your Microsoft 365 Administrator and ask them to remove the ExtendInsights add-in from the Centralized Deployment portal. Once it has been removed, the add-in will no longer be available in Excel after the deployment changes have propagated.
Note: Changes made through Microsoft Centralized Deployment may take some time to reach all users, depending on Microsoft's synchronization schedule.
