Menu

The Menu is the control center for ExtendInsights Analytics. Use this guide to quickly understand where to go based on what you want to manage or review.

At the top of the Menu, you’ll see your profile and current connection details, which help you quickly confirm who is signed in and which account you’re working with.

This section displays:

💡 Always verify the current connection before running reports or schedules to ensure data is pulled from the correct NetSuite or other connections environment.


Data Sources

Use this when you want to:

  • View the platforms available in ExtendInsights

  • Switch between connected data sources

This section helps users working across multiple systems manage data sources in one place.


Connections

NetSuite Connections

Use this when you want to:

  • Switch NetSuite roles or environments

  • View all connected NetSuite accounts

  • Add a new NetSuite connection

💡 Saved Searches are tied to the workbook, worksheet, and NetSuite account they were originally downloaded from.

Other Connections

Use this when you want to:

  • View or manage non-NetSuite data sources

Supported platforms may include:

  • Salesforce

  • Google Analytics

  • Chargebee

  • Stripe

  • HubSpot


Schedules

Use this when you want to:

  • View all existing schedules in one place

  • Create new schedules

  • Assign or unassign Saved Searches and queries

  • Update schedule frequency and timing

  • Delete schedules that are no longer needed

This is the primary location for managing automation across Saved Searches and SuiteQL queries.

📝 Scheduling is available to trial and Enterprise customers, and workbooks must be saved to OneDrive for Business or SharePoint.

Logs

The Logs section lets you track all activity across data sources.

  • You’ll see logs for successful runs, errors, manual downloads, and scheduled downloads.

  • Use filters to sort by data source or connection to quickly find what you're looking for.

This ensures transparency and helps troubleshoot more effectively.


Settings

For ExtendInsights Analytics, use this when you want to:

  • Check Microsoft grant status for scheduling

This section ensures ExtendInsights has the access it needs to run scheduled jobs.


Sign Out

Use this when you want to:

  • Sign out of ExtendInsights

  • Switch to a different work account

  • Troubleshoot authentication or session-related issues

Signing out ends your current session. You will be prompted to sign in again the next time you open ExtendInsights.
