FAQ: Can You Use Multiple Personal Mailboxes with ExtendSync?

ExtendSync Google | How to use ExtenSync for Multi-mailbox users

Updated this week

Yes! You can use ExtendSync for Google with multiple personal Gmail accounts, as long as each mailbox meets all licensing and setup requirements.

ExtendSync supports users who manage multiple Google browser profiles within the same Google Workspace tenant.

✅ Prerequisites

Before using ExtendSync across multiple mailboxes, ensure the following:

  • ExtendSync License for Each Personal Mailbox

Every Gmail mailbox using the ExtendSync add-in must have its own license assigned.

  • NetSuite Prerequisites

Each user must meet all NetSuite requirements, including:

    • Role configuration

    • Token-Based Authentication permissions

    • Web Services access

    • SSO or standard login setup

    • Any company-specific NetSuite prerequisites

  • Feature Enablement Per Mailbox

Autopilot and other ExtendSync settings must be configured per mailbox as needed.

How to Use ExtendSync with Multiple Google Mailboxes

ExtendSync authenticates using your Google account identity.
To use multiple Gmail mailboxes, choose one of the following workflows:

Option 1: Use Separate Google Chrome Profiles (Recommended)

This is the best and easiest method if you want to use multiple mailboxes at the same time.

Example Setup:

ExtendSync will correctly detect the Google account active in each profile.

👍 Benefits:

  • Use both mailboxes simultaneously

  • No need to sign in and out

  • Keeps Google data, bookmarks, and cookies cleanly separated

Option 2: Switch Accounts in the Same Browser Window (Less Convenient)

If you prefer to use only one browser window, you may switch Gmail accounts manually.

However, note that:

  • You must log out of the current Gmail account

  • Then log into the other Gmail account

  • Then reopen ExtendSync

This works but switching profiles frequently is less efficient.
