ExtendSync for Google NetSuite allows you to save emails not only from your inbox, but also while sending an email.
This ensures that important outbound communication is captured in NetSuite at the right moment.
You can sync emails when:
Sync email in Compose Mode (New Email)
Compose your email in Gmail as usual.
Instead of clicking Send, click Send and Open with ExtendSync.
After the email is sent, the ExtendSync panel opens.
Search for and select the NetSuite record(s) where the email should be stored.
Click Save to complete the association.
π‘ Tip:
You can associate the same email with multiple NetSuite records (for example, a Contact and an Opportunity).
Replying to an existing thread
Use this option when replying to an existing conversation and you want to start tracking it in NetSuite.
Open the email in Gmail and click Reply.
Write your response.
Click Send and Open with ExtendSync.
Once the reply is sent, ExtendSync opens automatically.
Select the NetSuite record(s) to associate the reply with and click Save.
This is especially useful when:
A conversation becomes important partway through the thread
You want to start tracking replies going forward
Additional Notes
If you are using Autopilot (Enterprise only), replies may be saved automatically depending on your configuration.
If you forget to use Send and Open with ExtendSync, you can still save the message later from your Sent Items folder.
Attachments can be included or excluded when saving the email.
