Administrators can automatically install the ExtendSync for Google NetSuite Chrome extension for users in their organization. This is especially helpful for large deployments or environments where users cannot install Chrome extensions on their own.
This guide is for Google Workspace Super Admins who manage Chrome policies through the Google Admin Console.

Prerequisites
You must have:
Google Workspace Super Admin access
Access to manage Chrome Apps & Extensions policies
A supported Google Workspace edition (Business or Enterprise)

Force Install the ExtendSync Google Chrome Extension
Step 1: Sign in to Google Admin Console
Go to admin.google.com
Sign in using your Super Admin account
Step 2: Navigate to Chrome Apps & Extensions
Step 3: Add the ExtendSync Extension
Click the + icon (bottom-right corner)
Select Add from Chrome Web Store
In the search bar, type CloudExtend
Select the ExtendSync for Google NetSuite Chrome extension

Make sure the correct organizational unit is selected on the left.
To deploy to everyone, apply the setting to all users and enrolled browsers.
Step 4: Set Installation Policy to Force Install
Under Installation policy, select:
βForce installClick Save
π This ensures the extension automatically appears in Chrome for all users in the selected Organization Unit.
Final Step for Users
Ask users to:
Refresh their Gmail tab, or
Restart Chrome
The ExtendSync panel will load automatically once the extension is active.
Users will be asked to login to ExtendSync using their Google and NetSuite account.
