Google Drive: Add or Remove the Google Drive tab on NetSuite records

ExtendSync allows NetSuite users to access Google Drive files directly from most standard and custom NetSuite record types.
Admins can enable or remove the Google Drive subtab using the steps below.


Prerequisites

Before enabling the Google Drive tab, ensure:

  • The user’s NetSuite email address matches their Google Workspace email

  • Organization under Enterprise plan

  • ExtendSync Gdocs licenses assigned to user


How to Add Google Drive Tab on NetSuite Records

  1. Navigate to Customization > Scripting >Scripts > List.

  2. Search for the script:
    Celigo Gmail Google Drive Sub Tab

  3. Click View next to the script

  4. Go to the Deployments tab to see record types where the Google Drive tab is already enabled.

  5. To add the Google Drive tab to other record types (including custom records):

    • Click the Deploy Script button in the top-left

    • Fill out the deployment form:

      • Record Type: Choose the record you want to enable

      • Audience: Select who can see the Drive tab (e.g., All Roles)

  6. Click Save.


Notes

  • You can deploy the Google Drive tab to any native or custom NetSuite record type

  • To remove the tab from a record type, delete or disable its deployment

Your users can now access Google Drive files directly within the enabled NetSuite record types for the chosen audience.
