OneDrive and Sharepoint Sync: How to use CloudExtend files tab for Inventory Item

ExtendSync Outlook | Learn how to add CloudExtend files to Inventory Items

The CloudExtend Files tab allows you to view and manage OneDrive for Business and SharePoint file links directly from NetSuite records — including Inventory Items.

By default, the CloudExtend Files tab is deployed on Customer and Contact records, but administrators can add it to other record types such as Inventory Parts.

About Inventory Item Record Types

💡 Tip:
NetSuite Inventory Items include multiple record types:

  • Inventory Part

  • Lot Numbered Inventory Item

  • Serialized Inventory Item

Each record type requires its own deployment of the CloudExtend Files tab.

Deploy the CloudExtend Files Tab for Inventory Items

Follow these steps to add the CloudExtend Files tab to Inventory Items.

Add Inventory Part

  1. Navigate to Customization >Scripting > Scripts.

  2. In the Filters section, select Bundle 244864.

  3. Look for Script celigo-ce-fs-tab-entrypoint. Click on Edit.

  4. Navigate to the Deployments tab. Add the Inventory Part record type on the Applies To tab.

    Set the following:

    • Deployed = Yes

    • Status = Released

    • Event Type = View

    • Log Level = Debug

  5. Save the changes. This will bring you back the list of scripts.

Perform these steps one record at a time.

Step 2: Update Audience

  1. Select for Script celigo-ce-fs-tab-entrypoint again.

  2. Click View and navigate to the Deployments tab.

  3. Locate the newly added record. Click Edit.

  4. In the Audience tab, select all roles or employees that require this permission.

  5. Save the changes, then go to a record to verify that the CloudExtend files tab is visible.
