Updated this week

Why This Matters

Managing files across email, shared drives, and local folders can quickly become messy. CloudExtend helps you keep everything organized by connecting OneDrive or SharePoint directly to NetSuite.

With CloudExtend, you can:

  • Store files securely in a single location.

  • Access them directly from NetSuite records.

  • Reduce misplaced files.

  • Save time searching for the right document.

CloudExtend Files Tab (Enterprise Feature)

The CloudExtend Files tab is automatically activated for NetSuite Customer and Contact records.

From here, you can:

  • Search for folders and files in OneDrive or SharePoint.

  • Attach them directly to NetSuite records for quick access.

Add-On Features - CloudExtend ExtendDocs

1. Sync Email Attachments to OneDrive and SharePoint

With the ExtendSync for Outlook app, file attachments from emails can be synced automatically to your OneDrive or Sharepoint default repository.

  • This is an Add-On and users need to log in the ExtendSync app to save files.

  • Attachments are stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.

  • Files are linked to Communications> Messages section of NetSuite records for easy reference.

  • Files are converted to HTML format, making them fast to share and load.

2. Auto-Create Folder (Add-On or Standalone)

When a new record is created in NetSuite, a corresponding folder is automatically created in OneDrive.

  • This can be standalone and does not require to using The ExtendSync app to save files.

  • That folder is then linked to the CloudExtend Files tab.

  • This ensures files stay organized and tied directly to the correct record.
