Error
If you receive the error message:
Invalid login. Customer access is disabled.
this typically means your NetSuite role does not have SOAP Web Services enabled.
All users who use ExtendSync for Outlook must have NetSuite Web Services access enabled for the role they use to log in.
Cause
ExtendSync communicates with NetSuite using the SOAP Web Services API.
If your NetSuite role doesn’t include this permission, ExtendSync cannot authenticate or retrieve data.
Resolution
Ask your NetSuite Administrator to enable SOAP Web Services for your role.
They can follow the steps below.
Step 1: Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
Step 2: Locate the role you want to modify. Click the corresponding Edit or Customize link.
Step 3: Click the Permissions> Setup subtab.
Step 4: Select Web Services or SOAP Web Services (for NetSuite 2020.1 or higher)
Step 5: In the Level drop-down list, select Full.
Step 6: Click Add and Save the changes.
💡 Tip
If your organization uses multiple roles (for example, Sales, Finance, or Admin), make sure SOAP Web Services is enabled for each role that users access through ExtendSync.
