Admin: Configure IP Whitelisting for CloudExtend Apps

General | Allow CloudExtend IP addresses in your organization’s network rules

If your organization restricts network traffic by IP address, add the CloudExtend IP addresses for the products you use to your firewall allowlist and, where applicable, your NetSuite IP restrictions.

If your organization does not use IP restrictions, no changes are needed.

Is Your Organization Affected?

Review your network rules if any of the following apply:

  • IP restrictions are enabled in your NetSuite account.

  • Users access CloudExtend through a VPN with IP restrictions.

  • Your IT or security team filters traffic through a firewall or other network control.

If you are unsure, ask your IT or security team.

Who Should Make These Changes?

A NetSuite Admin should update NetSuite IP restrictions. Your IT, security, or network administrator should update firewall or VPN rules.

Add the shared range and applicable product-specific IP addresses to the relevant firewall and NetSuite allowlists.

Do not remove other IP addresses solely because they are not listed here. Your organization may need them for other services or integrations. Check with your IT or security team before removing any existing entries.

What Happens If the IP Addresses Are Blocked?

Users may experience connection or service errors, including:

  • invalid_login_attempt

  • HTTP 403 Forbidden

  • Offline errors

  • Failed API requests

  • Authentication failures

CloudExtend features that depend on the blocked connections may stop working until the network rules allow the required traffic.

Verification

After the changes are applied, ask users to retry the affected CloudExtend feature. Confirm that the connection succeeds and that the previous error no longer appears.

Notes

  • Apply the IP addresses only to the products your organization uses.

  • Coordinate firewall and NetSuite changes with the administrators responsible for those systems.

  • Contact CloudExtend Support if you need help confirming which IP addresses apply to your deployment.
