ExtendInsights allows you to push updates from Excel to NetSuite based on the internal ID or external ID. This article covers how to push changes based on the internal ID. Check out this article if you need to update based on external ID.
If the internal ID is present ExtendInsights will perform an update on the NetSuite record.
If the internal ID is not present ExtendInsights will create a new NetSuite record.

To ensure a successful upload in NetSuite, follow these steps:
Select Consecutive Rows Only
When selecting rows for upload, make sure they are consecutive (with no empty rows or gaps in between).
If there is a gap, NetSuite will only process the rows up to the first gap and ignore the rest.
Upload in Batches (Non-consecutive rows)
If your data includes non-consecutive rows:
Select the first set of consecutive rows.
Upload these rows.
Highlight the next set of consecutive rows and repeat the process.
Confirm that the records from each batch were successfully uploaded before proceeding to the next set.
By following these steps, you'lle ensure that all rows are processed without issues.
Update 1 row at a time
by clicking on 1 of the cells within that row, the whole record for that set will be updated when Records on Selected Rows only is enabled.
Update multiple rows at a time
by highlighting the cells within those rows and when Records on Selected Rows only is enabled.
Update all rows at once
by checking off Records on Selected rows only.
⚠️ WARNING: If you hide rows, they WILL still be updated.
Global Setting for Selected Rows
We have added a global setting called Use selected rows only
in Settings which you can access from the left menu of the app.
Step 1: Click the Menu Options > Settings
Step 2: Use Selected Rows Only (toggle on or off)

Choose your update method
ExtendInsights offers two upsert options, Real-Time and Background.
Typically users that are updating small data sets would use the Standard Upload. Users processing large data sets or who need to submit multiple uploads simultaneously would benefit from the Background Upload Process.
