NetSuite has announced plans to end support for Token-Based Authentication (TBA), which uses OAuth 1.0.
Will this change affect CloudExtend apps that connect to NetSuite?
Short Answer
No immediate action is required.
The NetSuite 2026.2 release will not interrupt existing CloudExtend connections that use TBA. These connections will continue working as expected.
CloudExtend plans to transition its NetSuite integrations to OAuth 2.0 before NetSuite ends support for existing TBA integrations.
What Will CloudExtend Users Need to Do?
Nothing is required at this time.
When OAuth 2.0 support is rolled out, affected users or administrators may need to:
Reauthorize their NetSuite connection.
Update or recreate a connection using OAuth 2.0.
Complete any new permissions or configuration steps provided by CloudExtend.
CloudExtend will provide instructions before customers need to take action.
⚠️ Important: Do not remove tokens or manually change your existing CloudExtend connection unless instructed to do so.
