Excel Apps NextGen | CloudExtend Excel applications merging into one

Updated over a week ago

Why am I seeing This report generated via Analytics notification in the app?

This notification will appear if your current worksheet was downloaded using the CloudExtend Analytics for the NetSuite application and you are at the Data Management tab in the app.

The ability to manage (create, update, and delete) records is unavailable as the table is not referencing data from the Excel Data Management application.

If you wish to make an update to records, you must have:

  • License to Excel Data Management application

  • Template for the record type you want to update or create. Check out for more information here.

The latest version of CloudExtend Excel Beta will incorporate the merging of the two Excel applications, given that you possess a license for both apps.

  • There is no requirement to install a separate application, as both functionalities will be accessible within one platform.

  • Effortlessly log in and connect to NetSuite for each of the applications

  • Utilize your Microsoft and Google account access to access both Data Management and Analytics features through a unified user interface.

If you want to pull saved searches and put them on schedule or on-demand, use the Analytics tab.

To allow users to create, update, and delete records, use the Data Management tab.

With the use of the Analytics application, users' data can be downloaded and used as lookup tables. This data can also be downloaded for the purpose of copying and pasting it into an Excel Data Management table. It is recommended to structure the saved search for Analytics in a manner that includes the internal ID in the results, either with a formula, ie {name}&"[["&{id}&"]]" or just"[["&{id}&"]]".
