In earlier versions of ExtendSync, the app’s auto-fetch functionality retrieved all dependent records from the user’s NetSuite account for a given record type.
While comprehensive, this could lead to long load times when hundreds of dependent records were present.
The Include Dependent Record enhancement introduces smart limits to improve speed and usability.
With this enhancement, ExtendSync now:
Fetches up to 25 records per category — such as Entities, Transactions, and Activities — for each available record.
Reduces load time when displaying records in the Available Records panel.
This optimization ensures ExtendSync loads faster, even in large NetSuite environments.
How to Enable or Disable
Open ExtendSync for Outlook.
Go to Menu → Settings.
Locate the option Include Dependent Records.
Toggle the setting ON or OFF as desired.
💡 Tip: Keeping this setting ON is recommended for faster performance, especially if your NetSuite environment contains large datasets.
📘 Notes
Customer records are not included in the dependent entity records fetched.
Turning this feature off may result in longer loading times if your NetSuite account contains many related records.
