Overview: Why ExtendSync for Google NetSuite Was Rebuilt

ExtendSync Google | Understanding the new platform and what it means for customers

Updated in the last hour

Overview

In 2023, Google deprecated browser technologies most notably SameSite cookies that the legacy version of ExtendSync for Google depended on to maintain a NetSuite session.

Rather than introducing workarounds or browser-specific fixes, Extend rebuilt ExtendSync for Google from the ground up on a modern platform. This redesign removes browser dependencies, improves security, and enables faster delivery of new features.

This article explains what changed, why it matters, and what users and administrators can expect.
