Use this cheat sheet to quickly learn how the ExtendSync interface works. Whether you're attaching emails, searching for records, or creating new NetSuite entries, this guide shows you where key features live and how to use them.

๐ Install & Log In to ExtendSync for Google NetSuite
Save Emails to NetSuite Records
Inbox and Sent Items
1 - Click Menu > Settings, this will also allow you to set Filter search results
2 - Create New Records (Header)
3 - Search box (Optimize Search for Records)
4 - Choose if you wish to save as One-Time or Autopilot (Enterprise Only)
5 - Attach file or inline image to all selected records
6 - List of records in NetSuite based on the email addresses or transaction ID in the subject line (at least 5 digits)
7 - Create New Records (Associated to Section)
Saving Emails in Compose or Reply Mode
When composing a message:
Write your email as usual
Click Send and Open with ExtendSync
Select the NetSuite records to associate the outgoing email with
ExtendSync will save the sent message just like an incoming email
๐ก Tip:
You can also save previously sent emails by going to your Sent Items and using ExtendSync normally.
Create or Edit Records with ExtendSync
ExtendSync allows you to view, create, and edit many NetSuite record types directly from Gmail.
Create a New Record
1 - Create a new record from the ExtendSync header
2 - Create a new record from Available Records

Edit Existing Records
To edit a NetSuite record:
Hover over the record name in the list
Click the pencil icon
ExtendSync will:
Open the editable form inside the extension if supported, OR
Redirect you to NetSuite if editing must be done in NetSuite
๐ก Tip:
Use View in NetSuite to open the full record in NetSuite.
Configure Field Option
This button will be available when creating or updating records via ExtendSync .
1 - Configure the fields you want to add/remove
2 - Clear data in the current form
3 - Save the record to NetSuite
4 - Update the form settings
Using Create from NetSuite
If the record type you need is not available in ExtendSyncโs native form:
Enable Create from NetSuite using the toggle
The extension will display a list of all standard and custom record types in NetSuite
Select the record type you want
ExtendSync will open NetSuiteโs native creation form for that record
