What is Send from Outlook within NetSuite?

We all rely on Outlook for most of our email communication, but sometimes, you need to send messages directly from within NetSuite (for example, when responding to a customer record or transaction).

The challenge with sending emails from NetSuite includes:

  • Emails sometimes end up in spam due to the long string NetSuite appends to the "From" address.

  • Sent emails are only stored in NetSuite and do not appear in Outlook’s Sent folder.

  • No way to send an email using an Outlook account from NetSuite
