ExtendSync for Outlook NetSuite allows users to change the add-in’s theme to match their visual preference or Outlook environment.
This article explains the available theme options and how to switch between them.
When This Applies
Use this guide if you want to:
Enable Dark mode or Light mode
Match ExtendSync’s appearance to your Gmail theme
Adjust the UI for comfort or accessibility
How to Change the Theme
Open ExtendSync from Outlook.
Click the Menu → Settings icon in the add-in.
Locate the Theme option.
Select one of the following:
Light
Dark
System
Close Settings. The theme updates immediately.
No page refresh is required.
Theme Options Explained
Theme Option | Behavior |
Light | Always displays the add-in in Light mode |
Dark | Always displays the add-in in Dark mode |
System | Automatically matches your Gmail theme setting |
When System is selected, ExtendSync detects your Gmail theme:
Outlook in Dark mode → ExtendSync uses Dark mode
Outook in Light mode → ExtendSync uses Light mode
