You may see an Auto Create Record Failure alert when ExtendDocs cannot use the organization’s NetSuite authorization to create folders.
Symptoms
Users receive an Auto Create Record Failure alert or see errors when ExtendDocs tries to create folders in NetSuite.
Why This Happens
During setup, a CloudExtend Admin configured the integration in the CloudExtend Admin Portal. This configuration authorized ExtendDocs to connect to NetSuite.
The authorization may stop working if the administrator’s tokens are revoked in NetSuite or the administrator changes.
How to Resolve the Issue
Regardless of how it happened, the fix is straightforward.
For the CloudExtend Admin:
Sign in to the CloudExtend Admin Portal, then go to Subscriptions → ExtendDocs File Storage for NetSuite
Go to the Configuration tab.
Under Auto create folders in OneDrive / SharePoint, select Re-Configure.
Under NetSuite Authorization for the Organization, select Re-Authorize.
Select Save.
Verification
After reauthorization, users should no longer receive auto-create folder errors. Confirm that ExtendDocs can create the folders in NetSuite.
