Once a template is loaded into Excel it can be used to retrieve and/or update data from NetSuite. It can even create new NetSuite records and delete records using Excel.
Get to know the different parts of a template.
Row 1 - Mapping Syntax
Row 1 is reserved to hold the names of the NetSuite fields and should not be edited unless you are a power user (the names are hidden but can be exposed by clicking in a cell on Row 1).
Row 2 - Table Headers
Table headers (Row 2) can be freely edited to make the field names more user-friendly.
We have redesigned the picklist panel from where users can select values for a select field. Two selections when using Cell Operations:
Set value to Empty
Select a value from the picklist

Reserved field for Error Messages (Column A)
Column A is the container of the error messages when sending data to NetSuite. See different color-coded notifications and learn their differences.
The Menu page will show you the status of the upload, and switch to different NetSuite roles and environments. You can also change the theme color of the CloudExtend application from light, dark, or based on your system settings. Pick the theme of your choice.

Template Toggle Button
If it's your first time creating a template, keep this turned off. If you have saved templates, toggle this on and select the template you want to use! It's that easy. From there you can do the following:
Search and Download
Create a brand new template or use an existing template to pull a subset of records from NetSuite by using filters or saved searches.

Create New Records
Create records from scratch or manage existing records in NetSuite this is an option for you!
