Choose How You Want to Retrieve Records
ExtendInsights offers three ways to pull records from NetSuite. Choose the option that fits your goal.
Saved Search
Use a NetSuite Saved Search to retrieve a predefined set of records.
Best for:
Complex filters or formulas
Summary or grouped results
Reusing an existing NetSuite report
Notes:
Managed in NetSuite
Requires Saved Search permissions

Data Filter (Rules)
Use rule-based filters created directly in ExtendInsights.
Best for:
Quick, ad-hoc filtering
One-time or flexible data pulls
No NetSuite setup required
Notes:
Built and saved inside ExtendInsights
Filters are reusable across workbooks
Internal ID (Most Precise)
Retrieve exact records only using NetSuite Internal IDs.
Best for:
Targeted updates or validations
High-confidence, high-performance retrieval
When you already know the records you need
How it works:
Paste Internal IDs into Column B – Internal ID
Click Reload Records
Only matching records are retrieved
