Before you can download Google Analytics data into Excel, you'll need to create a Google Analytics connection.

To connect ExtendInsights to Google Analytics, follow the steps below or watch the video.

Select Google Analytics from the list of data sources.

Sign in to your Google account and complete the authorization process.

Select the Google Analytics property you want to report on.

1. Open ExtendInsights.
2. Select Google Analytics from the list of data sources.

3. Enter a Connection Name. 

4. Click Authorize.
5. Sign in to your Google account and complete the authorization process.
6. Select the Google Analytics property you want to report on.

Once authorization is complete, your Google Analytics connection is ready to use.

Your connection is configured successfully when:

Google Analytics appears as the active connection.

You can create or load Google Analytics templates.

Google Analytics dimensions and metrics are available for download.
