How Calendar Autopilot Works with ExtendSync Google

ExtendSync Google | Real-time, bidirectional calendar sync between Google Calendar and NetSuite

Updated this week

⚠️ Important Update
Legacy Calendar Sync has been deprecated and is no longer supported.
Calendar Autopilot is now the only calendar synchronization solution available for ExtendSync Google.

This article explains how Calendar Autopilot works, why it’s recommended, and what you can expect when syncing events between Google Calendar and NetSuite.

What Is Calendar Autopilot?

Calendar Autopilot is a real-time, bidirectional calendar sync add-on for ExtendSync Google.

It ensures that meetings and appointments stay perfectly aligned between Google Calendar and NetSuite, without manual imports or delays.

With Calendar Autopilot, you can confidently manage your schedule from either platform while keeping NetSuite up to date automatically.

Why Use Calendar Autopilot?

Calendar Autopilot helps teams:

  • See accurate availability across Google Calendar and NetSuite

  • Avoid double-booking meetings

  • Maintain a complete activity history in NetSuite

  • Keep customer-facing teams aligned on appointments and follow-ups

💡 Calendar Autopilot is ideal for organizations with high event volume, recurring meetings, or multi-day events.

How Calendar Autopilot Sync Works

Bidirectional, Real-Time Sync

  • Events can be created in Google Calendar or NetSuite

  • Updates made in either system sync in real time

  • No waiting periods or manual refresh required

Supported Event Behavior

  • Single-day and multi-day events

  • Recurring events (including recurring multi-day events)

  • Updates to individual occurrences or entire series

Entity Matching for Calendar Events

When syncing Google Calendar events with attendees, ExtendSync automatically links the event to the most relevant NetSuite records.

Matching order of precedence:

Employee > Contact > Customer > Vendor > Lead> Prospect > Partner > Job

This ensures events are associated with the most appropriate NetSuite entity for reporting and visibility.
