Calendar Autopilot supports two-way event syncing between a shared Google Calendar and NetSuite.
How an event syncs depends on who is set as the organizer and which calendars or users are included as attendees.
Before you begin: Your shared Google Calendar must first be configured and licensed for Calendar Autopilot.
Shared Calendar-Only Events
Shared calendar events typically sync as expected when one or more licensed CloudExtend users are included as attendees.
If you want events to sync only to the shared calendar, additional configuration is required when:
The shared Google Calendar is the organizer, and
The event does not include a licensed CloudExtend user as an attendee.
Required Configuration
To support shared calendar-only events, the following Google Calendar domain must be added to the allowed domains on the CloudExtend license:
group.calendar.google.com
This allows Calendar Autopilot to process events associated only with the shared Google Calendar without requiring a licensed user's personal calendar to participate in the event.

Once configured, you can use the scenarios below to determine how events will sync.
NetSuite → Google Calendar
When creating an event in NetSuite:
Go to Activities → Scheduling → Events → New, or open a NetSuite record and go to Communications → Activities → New Event.
Enter the event details, such as the title, date, time, and message.
Set the appropriate Organizer and Attendees.
Save the event.
Scenario 1: Show the Event on Personal and Shared Calendars
Use this scenario when you want the event to appear on the shared Google Calendar and the calendars of participating licensed users.
Organizer: Licensed ExtendSync user
Attendees: Shared calendar and other attendees as needed
Result
The event syncs in real time to the shared Google Calendar.
Licensed users included in the event can also receive the event on their personal calendars.
If the organizer is a licensed user, the event can also appear on the organizer's Google Calendar.
Example
Elise creates the event in NetSuite and is the organizer. The Services shared calendar and Justine are included as attendees.
The event syncs to the Services shared calendar and the applicable licensed users' calendars.
The event will sync in real time to the service's calendar, Justine Burdo’s calendar.
💡 Organizer Tip:
If you’re scheduling for someone else and don’t want the event on your own calendar, change the Organizer to the appropriate person and remove yourself as an attendee.
Scenario 2: Show the Event on the Shared Calendar Only
Use this scenario when you don't want the event to appear on a licensed user's personal Google Calendar.
Organizer: Shared calendar
Attendees: Shared calendar only
Result
The event syncs to the shared Google Calendar only.
A licensed user's personal calendar does not need to be included as an attendee when the required shared calendar configuration is enabled.
Google Calendar → NetSuite
When creating an event in Google Calendar:
Create the event using the appropriate Google Calendar.
Add the shared calendar and other guests as needed.
Save the event.
Scenario 1: Sync the Event for the Shared Calendar and Licensed Users
Use this scenario when the event should be associated with both the shared calendar and participating users.
Organizer: Licensed user/personal calendar
Guests: Shared calendar and other attendees as needed
Result
The event syncs in real time to NetSuite for the shared calendar.
It also syncs in NetSuite for other attendees who have Calendar Autopilot licenses.
Scenario 2: Sync the Event for the Shared Calendar Only
Use this scenario when the event should be associated only with the shared calendar.
Organizer: Shared calendar
Guests: Shared calendar only
Result
The event syncs in real time to NetSuite for the shared calendar without requiring a licensed user's personal calendar to be included.
Important: Shared calendar-only syncing requires group.calendar.google.com to be added to the allowed domains on the CloudExtend license.
