Follow this guide to ensure your organization meets all Send from Outlook prerequisites before using the feature.
When setup is complete, you’ll be ready to send directly from NetSuite’s email interface seamlessly through Outlook.
Prerequisites
In order to use ExtendSync Send from Outlook feature successfully, there are a few prerequisites that need to be met. These includes:
Requirement | Who Performs It | Details |
Regrant consent for Microsoft Graph API | Microsoft 365 Admin | Required for Outlook to send on behalf of users. |
Log in to the ExtendSync add-in | End user | Each user must install and sign in to the ExtendSync add-in at least once to create the NetSuite connection.

Valid CloudExtend license | Admin | Available for Enterprise and Starter Edition only. |
Enterprise feature access | Admin | Calendar Autopilot-only users will not have access to Send from Outlook. Upgrade to Enterprise Edition to enable. |
Thread-Based Autopilot enabled (Enterprise users) | Admin | Required for Enterprise users. Validate user setup in the CloudExtend Subscription Portal.

Error Messages
If any of these prerequisites are missing, user will be shown an error when they click on the button Email using CloudExtend button.
Sample Error Messages
Error Message | Meaning / Fix |
Microsoft Grant needs to be given by your CloudExtend admin for this feature to work. | The Microsoft 365 admin has not yet regranted consent for the Send from Outlook feature. |
You need to log in to ExtendSync add-in and connect to your NetSuite account for this feature to work. | The user has not signed into ExtendSync or linked their NetSuite account. |

Regranting consent for Send from Outlook feature
Step 1: Regrant consent for Microsoft Graph
Microsoft admin to login https://subscriptions.cloudextend.io/.
Locate section Accounts > Default Settings.
Hit the Click here if you wish to re-consent to trigger the process.
Step 2: Add permissions to Users with Custom Roles
In NetSuite, go to Setup > User/Roles > Manage Roles and and select the relevant custom role.
Go to Permissions > Custom Record Tab.
Add Celigo Send from Outlook Email Config and set to FULL.
Go to Permissions > Lists
Add Track Messages and assign FULL access level
Step 3: Request users to login to ExtendSync
Users should login to ExtendSync add-in at least once and create NetSuite connection inside the app.
