Weβre glad to have you on board. This guide will walk you through the core setup steps so your team can start using Gmail and Google Drive with NetSuite, and optionally enable Calendar Autopilot as an add-on.
π₯ Who is required for the initial setup?
To complete the steps below, youβll typically need two people from your organization.
For some companies, this might be the same person wearing multiple hats.
A user with Google Workspace Super Admin rights
A user with NetSuite Administrator rights
Before You Begin
Make sure:
You have an active or trial subscription for ExtendSync for Google NetSuite.
You know which features your organization is licensed for (Gmail, Drive, and whether you purchased the Calendar Autopilot add-on).
You have access to install the NetSuite Bundle ID: 20497.
Your organization is on a supported Google Workspace edition (Basic, Business, or Enterprise).
Review Google & Browser Requirements
ExtendSync works with:
Google Workspace Gmail (web) using Chrome
Users signed in with their corporate Google Workspace account
Chrome browser with the ExtendSync extension installed
βοΈ Connection requirements:
Users must sign into Gmail using their Google Workspace (work) account.
Personal Gmail accounts are not supported for production use.
Usersβ Google email must match their NetSuite email for best results.

Using only one active Google Workspace profile in the browser while using ExtendSync

π§ Core Setup (Required for All Editions)
These steps must be completed before anyone can start using ExtendSync for Google NetSuite.

1. Install ExtendSync for Google Workspace App | Google Workspace Super Admin | Install the ExtendSync app from the Google Workspace Marketplace so itβs available to your domain. |
2. Add Google API Scopes (Google Drive, Calendar, & Autopilot) | Google Workspace Super Admin | Add required domain-wide delegation scopes for Gmail and Google Drive, so ExtendSync can function on behalf of users. |
3. Install ExtendSync NetSuite Bundle (ID: 20497) | NetSuite Admin | Install the ExtendSync bundle in NetSuite using SuiteBundler. |
4. Install CloudExtend Gmail for NetSuite SuiteApp | NetSuite Admin | Install the CloudExtend Gmail SuiteApp, which provides the UI and core Gmail integration. |
5. Add CloudExtend Components | NetSuite Admin | Before allocating user licenses, you must activate each CloudExtend component your organization will use. |
6. Allocate Licenses to End-users | NetSuite Admin | Use Celigo License Manager to allocate license to Users |
8. Complete NetSuite Prerequisites (Roles & Permissions) | NetSuite Admin | Confirm that required permissions (SOAP Web Services, User Access Tokens, Track Messages, Documents & Files, etc.) are enabled on roles. |
9. Install Chrome Extension & Log In | End Users | Users install the ExtendSync Chrome extension, sign in with Google, select their NetSuite environment and role, and start using the app. |
Core Features by Offering

After you've installed ExtendSync for Google NetSuite, youβll want to make sure your users have everything they need to be successful.

Share the Chrome Web Store link for the extension. Provide simple instructions on logging in with Google and choosing the correct NetSuite environment and role.

Your Customer Success Manager and Training Manager can provide free end-user training sessions for your team. These can be recorded and shared across your organization.
