Email Sync: Learn how to Save an Email to NetSuite using ExtendSync for Google

ExtendSync Google | Sync email once or turn on the AutoPilot

Updated this week

Depending on your workflow, you can save emails to NetSuite in two ways:

One-Time Save (Associate Email)

This will save the email once to NetSuite.

If someone responds to the thread, you need to go back and manually save the reply.

How It Works

  1. Open an email in Outlook.

  2. Launch ExtendSync and choose One-Time Save (Associate Email).

  3. Select the record(s) you want to attach the email to.

  4. Click Associate Email.

๐Ÿ’ก Notes:

Autopilot for Emails (Enterprise Users Only)

Autopilot saves time by automatically syncing emails related to specific threads or contacts โ€” no manual saving required.

By default:

  • Attachments are included only in the first email of the thread.

  • Files are stored in the NetSuite File Cabinet.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip:
Enterprise users can reduce NetSuite storage usage by uploading files via Google Drive instead.
