With ExtendSync Outlook, you can edit existing NetSuite records directly within Outlook, no need to switch tabs or open NetSuite manually.
This feature helps users quickly update records, keeping NetSuite data current and accurate while working from their inbox.
How to Edit an Existing Record
Step 1: In the ExtendSync panel, go to the Available Records section.
Step 2: Hover over the record name you want to edit.
Step 3: Click the pencil icon to edit the record.
💡 Tip! By clicking edit, ExtendSync will open the record for editing directly within the application (for supported record types), otherwise, the record will open a browser and direct you to the NetSuite edit form.
Customizing the Form
You can personalize which fields appear on your ExtendSync edit form to make updates faster and easier.
Add or remove fields based on what’s most relevant to your workflow.
Configure mandatory, custom, or optional fields as needed.
