Contact Microsoft Support for Office Add-in Issues

When to open a Microsoft support request

If you've completed the recommended troubleshooting steps and the issue appears to be related to Microsoft 365 or Office, your Microsoft 365 Administrator should open a support request with Microsoft.

Open a Microsoft Support Request

  1. Sign in to admin.microsoft.com as a Global Administrator.

  2. Select Help (?)SupportNew service request.

  3. Describe the issue (for example, "Office add-ins failing to load or deploy- ExtendInsights Data Connector for Excel.").

    Include:

    • Microsoft Office/Excel version

    • Number of affected users

    • Error messages or screenshots

  4. Submit the request using your preferred contact method - chat is usually fastest.

Alternatively: support.microsoft.com/contactus → select Microsoft 365Contact Support.
