To begin utlizing the ExtendInsights, you need to connect to a data source.
Adding Connection for the First Time
π This will walk you through on how to establish Salesforce connection.
From Menu
1. Open ExtendInsights then go to Menu > Connnections > Other Connections > Salesforce and click Create Connection.
| 2. Enter a name for your connection, choose production or sandbox, and click Authorize.

3. Enter your credentials and login to Salesforce.
| 4. Once connected, the ExtendInsights panel will show the active connection and operations.

From the Main Page
1. Open ExtendInsights, in the Data Sources section choose Salesforce> Create Template then Create Connection.
β | 2. Enter a name for your connection, choose production or sandbox, and click Authorize.

Manage Existing Connections
ExtendInsights allows you to manage connections, including editing connection names, deleting, or reauthorizing connections. You can also connect to multiple accounts for a specific data source, making it easy to switch between connections.
Step 1: Open ExtendInsights. Go to Menu > Connections > Other Connections.
Step 2: Hover on the connection name.
Step 4: Click the 3 dots beside the connection name and choose the option you wish to perform.
Manage Connection Options
(1) Reauthorize - When tokens get expired, reconnect by reauthorizing connection
(2) Edit- Rename connection
(3) Delete - Remove connections no longer used.
(4) Create New - Add connections
