Troubleshooting: ExtendSync Google Not Loading

ExtendSync Google | Fix the issue where only the ExtendSync logo appears

If ExtendSync for Google NetSuite loads with only the logo on a white background and does not fully open when you click an email, this is usually caused by Chrome blocking third-party cookies.

This article explains why this happens and how to fix it.


Symptom

  • ExtendSync panel opens but shows only the ExtendSync logo

  • The app does not load content when selecting an email

  • Refreshing Gmail does not resolve the issue


Why This Happens

ExtendSync relies on cookies to authenticate and load securely inside Gmail.
If third-party cookies are blocked in Google Chrome, the app cannot complete initialization.


How to Resolve the Issue

You can fix this in one of two ways:

Choose the option that best fits your organization’s security preferences

Option A - Allow Certain URL

If you want to keep the Block third-party cookies and use ExtendSync, do the following:

Step 1: In your Chrome browser, click the three dots in the upper right corner.

Step 2: Go to Settings.

Step 3: Hit Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.

Step 4: In Customized Behaviour, under Sites that can always use cookies section, click Add.

  • Add https://gmns.cloudextend.app/ then check the Include third-party cookies on this site.

  • Add mail.google.com then check the Include third-party cookies on this site.

Step 5: Return to Gmail and refresh the browser.

Option B - To Allow all cookies

Step 1: In your Chrome browser, click the three dots in the upper right corner.

Step 2: Go to Settings.

Step 3: Hit Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.

Step 4: In the General Settings section, choose to Allow all cookies.

Step 5: Go back to Gmail and Refresh the browser.


✅ Verify the Fix

After applying either option:

  • Open an email in Gmail

  • Click the ExtendSync panel

  • The application should load fully (not just the logo)


Additional Tips

  • If you use multiple Chrome profiles, apply these settings to the correct profile.

  • Corporate-managed browsers may restrict cookie settings—contact your IT team if options are locked.
