Overview

ExtendSync for Google NetSuite is a cloud-to-cloud integration that connects Google Workspace services like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive with NetSuite records.

This overview applies to customers evaluating or newly installing ExtendSync for Google who want to understand its core functionality and supported use cases.


What ExtendSync for Google Does

ExtendSync for Google enables you to:

  • Attach Gmail emails and attachments to NetSuite records

  • Sync Google Calendar events with NetSuite

  • Associate Google Drive files with NetSuite records

  • Keep email, calendar, and file activity centralized in NetSuite

All syncing occurs directly between Google and NetSuite, no local software or desktop client is required.

ExtendSync for Google NetSuite is NOT yet supported in mobile but we are working on it to be available for you!

How to Get Started

For End Users

  • Install the ExtendSync for Google browser extension

  • Sign in using your NetSuite credentials

  • Begin attaching emails, events, and files to NetSuite records

For Admins

  • Complete the Admin Installation Guide for ExtendSync Google NetSuite

  • Confirm required NetSuite permissions and features are enabled

  • Assign licenses and provide access to users

Best Practices

  • ExtendSync for Google NetSuite is currently supported on desktop browsers only

  • Mobile support is not yet available but is actively being developed

  • For best results, ensure users are signed in with supported Google Workspace accounts

  • Review admin configuration before onboarding large user groups
